CANCELLATION POLICY

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. To keep our schedule running smoothly for all guests, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A valid card on file is required to book and hold all appointments. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 25% of the scheduled service. No-shows or missed appointments without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Repeated last-minute cancellations may require prepayment for future bookings. Thank you for respecting our time and allowing us to provide a reliable, high-quality experience for every guest. ADDITIONAL POLICIES: 1. Card on file required for booking: No deposit is required to book, but a valid card must be added to secure your appointment. You wont be charged unless the cancelation, late, or no show policy is violated. This protects my time as space is limited. This ensures availability for serious bookings only. Thank you for understanding. 2. Refund and touch up policy: all services are non-refundable. If you experience an issue with your service, please contact me within 24 hours so I can asses and offer a solution if needed. Touch ups are offered at my discretion, and must be scheduled within 5 days of the original appointment. 3. Late arrival: A 5 minute grace period is offered. Arrivals after this window may result in shortened services or cancellation with applicable fees. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY IF YOU’LL NEED TO USE THE RESTROOM TIME SPENT IN THE RESTROOM WILL COUNT TOWARDS SERVICE TIME. 4. No Children Policy: For safety, sanitation, and the comfort of all guests, children are not permitted in the treatment room or to wait in the studio. Guests who arrive with children will be asked to reschedule and will be charged according to the cancellation policy. 5. Age Requirement Wax Theory is an adult-only space. All guests must be 18 years or older to book and receive services — no exceptions. Why? Our services are intimate, require client consent, and our environment is designed exclusively for adults. By booking, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and agree to all policies. 7. No pets: To maintain sanitation, pets are not permitted inside the studio or treatment room. The only exception to this policy is for certified service animals. 8. Hygiene/health policy: Please arrive clean; especially for intimate services. Not feeling well? Please reschedule. Your safety comes first—clean, unbroken skin, no illness, no medications that affect waxing. Please disclose if you are using any topical prescriptions like retina-A, accurate, tretinoin, diffferin studionor antibiotics, as waxing may not be safe. Let’s keep wax theory safe, soft, and healthy. 9. Privacy/professionalism: Wax theory is a respectful, judgement-free space. Professional conduct is expected from both parties at all times. 10. AFTERCARE: Avoid; hot tub, sauna, pool, gym, intercourse, hot showers, (heat/friction), wear loose clothing for the first 24 hours. For full face services; change pillow cases, towels etc and avoid touching face for 24 hours, wait to apply makeup for 24 hours. Waxing exfoliates a dead layer of skin leaving your skin sensitive to bacteria. These activities can cause sensitivity, discomfort, break outs, itching etc. 11. First time: if this is your first time with us, please arrive 5 minutes early to fill out consultation forms. Please arrive showered for intimate services and without makeup for facial services.
